About
Timing is everything - a great photograph happens in the blink of an eye. It is about capturing an
emotion and a moment in time. Its about a connection between the photographer and the subject.
The art of photography is more than the technical ability to use a camera.
The art, to me, is relating to the subject in such a way that they feel comfortable enough to show me
who they really are.
I have spent over 20 years developing not only my technical skills but also my ability to relate to my
subjects. To let them be themselves.
Over the years I have laughed, cried, sang and been left speechless by the events and people that I have
photographed - sometimes all at the same time.
It is an amazing opportunity to share such powerful and personal moments with people and I consider
myself very fortunate every time I pick up a camera.
