Motorcycle Photography
I have had a fascination with motorcycles for as long as I can remember. I was always the kid in the backseat of the family car watching out the window, waiting for the next bike to go by.
Over the years I have owned almost a dozen motorcycles and even spent a few years selling them until I realized I was watching people go out and ride the bikes I sold them and not riding myself.
During that time it only seemed natural to start photographing the bikes and their riders. Motocross, Roadracing, you name it, if there were bikes involved, I was there.
Years later, I have discovered the family of Custom bikes - the builders, painters, owners and their families. I am like a kid in a candy store surrounded by some of the most incredible pieces of rolling artwork I have ever seen.
I enjoy photographing the people involved with the bikes as much as the bikes themselves.
It is, like I said, a family, and each member is a character with a look and story all their own.
Telling a little of that story, who they are and why they ride, is what I hope to show in the images we create.
